The new Topman collection for Spring and Summer 2012 will deliver a vibrant palette of color and pattern in the springtime. GQ feels the “bohemian” aspect of the collection. We appreciate that even the larger of the box retailers are will to stretch it some when it comes to menswear.

Topman is set to deliver their first series of signature fragrances with the launch of Perfume 16 and 27. Available exclusively through Topman Oxford Circus and Selfridges, the two fragrances are distinct: “No.16 gives a sense of cool fresh air on top using three key notes, Bergamot, Poivre and a Woody/Ozone accent” while No.27  useses “addictive and distinctive” touches such as Clarysage, anise and Neroli… as well as Oakmoss, Frankincense, Cedarwood and skin penetrated Musks. They deliver on September 22.

TOPMAN delivers this all-over print henley with a floral, of course. Form fit, the polo a perfect addition to the season and an easy buy. Alter has it.

GQ comes through with a first look at the new Marc Hare collection for Topman shops. “The ten styles will be available online and at Topman’s Oxford Circus, New York and Chicago stores, available in August. All though are part of Topman’s rock’n'roll AAA range – hence the alligator print on the boots, the tiger-stripe cut-out on the derbys and the patent, croc and suede on the sneakers.”

A true essential to have for the summer is a black pair of plimsolls. Topman have makes them very affordable. Their take on the shoe is very subtle in design and exudes a sense of class with this basic. The shoe comes in “black canvas” with a slim sole and a round toe. The lace-up would go pretty good with almost anything for summer.

TOPMAN lands in Brooklyn via the Alter shops. Luckily, they have chosen some of the stronger pieces from the TOPMAN lineup. This basic Fair Isle cardigan is an example of a well priced sweater to keep you chill-free this Spring. The shawl collar and zip-up front make it easy.
