Travelteq – Voyager Travelbag

23 May 2012, 22.00 | Posted in Accessories | No comments »

travelteq voyager bag 1 Travelteq Voyager Travelbag
We have come to rely on Travelteq for innovative and forward-thinking things that make all the abysmal fuckery that goes along with air travel in particular a little less abrasive. While not as game-changey as their suitcase that turns into a seat, this bag definitely invokes the tenets of proper packing (especially as pictured above). That right there is the magic of a good bag—you want to do right by it. Maximizing its potential makes you feel good carrying the thing.

This bag is made from “the strongest canvas and Florentine Vacchetta leather,” and is lined with vibrant orange fabric that bathes your neatly folded (or harshly stuffed) accoutrements in warmth. Two interior zipped compartments stow valuables and devices, while an exterior pouch keeps all the crap you have to hand over to TSA agents in-check. Get one online.

Travelteq Travel Jacket

04 April 2012, 20.40 | Posted in Fashion | 1 comment »

travelteq travel jacket 1 Travelteq Travel Jacket
This handy, navy reversible jacket from Travelteq seeks to meet the needs of the company’s founder, Maarten—who takes many one-day business trips—and, by extension, your own. “One side has two distinguished side pockets and one breast pocket for a formal look,” we are told. “The other side has two stitched-on sporty side pockets and a breast pocket for a more casual look.”

Both sides close with either a zipper or buttons and it has a keen little loop for controlling errant headphones when they are not in your ears. The fit looks proper enough, but the thing that is bugging us out is the shimmer. Might be a bit much for an old-fashioned meeting. This is a crowdsourced offering, meaning it will only go into production if enough people want it. You can vote to order one here.

Travelteq Trash Laptop Bags

Selectism - Travelteq Trash Laptop Bags

Amsterdam’s Travelteq delivers their latest laptop bag offering – Trash. “The Trash has many compartments, but all for a specific need. Any annoyance, any thing you may miss has been taken care of with the Trash. Think of a shock resistant laptop compartment. Compartments for your: cigar, business cards, phone, sunglasses, plain tickets and more. Basically all the “trash” you need to bring on your short trips. My favorite is the outside pocket to hold your plane ticket, phone or sunglasses so you can grab them at any time while traveling. This all fits in the stylish, Italian leather design of the Trash. All the bags are hand made in Italy. The bag is useful for everyday work or short business trips. At the moment the Trash comes in 4 different color combinations. More colors and designs will follow.”
