Those promiscuous folks at Tricker’s are at it again, this time teaming up with Tres Bien for this orange brogue. From what we can tell, it looks like a traditional English brogue instead of the longwing – the right decision, if we say so ourselves. There’s also a commando sole, natty white laces and eyelets and the best use of ‘fo’ since the Snoop Dogg poetry, “two plus two, it equals fo’, this is some love that can love foreva mo”. Très Bien recently added an editorial section to their site and their first interview was with Mr McNairy. An in-depth read, they talk about his influences, collaborations and why his shoes are made in England. When it comes to the latter topic, he gives an interesting answer:

‘There are almost no factories in the U.S. to make those shoes. The few that exist aren’t really interested. My whole thing has always been modern, traditional, Anglo-American sportswear. The button down shirt originated in the UK. The traditional dress shoe industry, Savile Row–the whole thing grew out of the UK.’

The guys at Tres Bien have recently added a dope feature to their blog called ‘look of the day‘. As the title suggests, it’s basically an outfit made from their stock. Aside from being eye candy for the clothing obsessed, they could be used to show how to work a slightly difficult item into your wardrobe. Check after the jump for a close up look of the shot.

Through December 24th, the good people at Trés Bien will be presenting a new product from their long list of designers. None of the products have been presented in the shop in the past, so consider them fresh buys when they are released daily.
