Spotted at Project LV, the Tretorn T-56 GTX is a fully lined, slim silhouetted Gore-Tex sneaker. The tongue is fully gusseted, meaning even more water and cold protection. Originally conceived through collaboration with Stockholm-based retailer Sneakers and Stuff, the model (not surprisingly) comes direct from Tretorn’s 1956 catalog.

Not a new shoe for the line, but one that floated our boat.

Sundays are meant for trail walks and hiking in New England.  While it may not be suited well for more serious hikes, the Tretorn Klippor should work out for those more relaxing of hikes and nature walks. “100% leather, rubber-toed boot height sneaker with metal hardware and wool blend lining. Constructed out of smooth and tumbled leather panels and equipped with a rugged rubber sole. Extra ankle support with the style of a high-lacing hiking boot. Tretorn highlights their Krona sneaker for Spring 2010. Two model are available – a low top in canvas as well as a mid in suede. On the canvas side, the low Krona comes in a few color ways including an 80’s inspired canvas top which should play well with outfitted with some proper short pants.

We give you a detailed look at the ACNE Fall/Winter 2008 footwear collection. The Swedish brand continues to work with fellow Swedish sneaker company Tretorn and presents overall six sneakers with them. The offering consists of both subtle upscale styles and more sporty colorful styles, making it an overall good mix.

Most excited though, we are about the ACNE boots this season, which look very much like the classic Red Wing boot. But color and material choice give them a really clean and mature look, perfectly going with a nice pair of denim or some chinos.

Two weeks past we showed you Tretorn’s menswear offering at Bread and Butter Barcelona. What we neglected to show was their sunglass eyewear which was also part of the collection. With some basic unisex frames which work well with any looks, Tretorn offers an alternative to the traditional frame makers. Look for them this coming spring.

Cool Hunting reports on the opening of Tretorn’s first New York City Store at 150 Spring Street. "The 1300 square-foot new Soho shop, only the second flagship worldwide (the first opened in D.C. last year), is something to get excited about too, featuring Tretorn’s apparel and footwear lines, as well as bikes, boats and other "lifestyle" products."

Acne Jeans calls upon shoemaker Tretorn for their Spring/Summer 2008 footwear line. Acne and Tretorn worked together on a variety of lines including the Nylite line which updates the original sneaker from the 1960’s as well as original Stroll line which comes in low and hightop form (and was also used for years as the official sneaker of the Chinese military).
