Tomorrowland show off some tailoring looks in this ‘Well-Dressed Man’ lookbook for Spring/Summer 2012. With suiting from their own label and accesories and footwear from the likes of Marwood, J.M Weston, Piombo, Cutler & Gross and Trickers some well put together styles for non-sweats days.

Thought we’d drop a little Tricker’s business for a Thursday morning. Très Bien have worked with the kings of the collaboration before, those guys are old friends now. This newest effort has to be one of their best. A cap toe derby with the most incredible Zug grain leather – all black from the laces to the sole. The store mention this is made on a wide last so you can squeeze those thick mountaineering socks in that all the kids are wearing – clever thinking. Lined with navy blue leather and stamped with gold,  this is the business. Find it at Très Bien.

The ever prolific Tricker’s have come up with this rather nice colour combination for these suede Golosh brogues, created for Japanese store Eight Hundred Ships. If you’re devoted to your sturdy footwear the summer months can be a tricky time. Going for a stroll along the beach in a pair of Horween Goodyear welted Oxfords might feel a little odd. This offering is still a bit of a stomper with that sole but the off white and the light grey suede manage to make this a reasonably summer friendly shoe. Find them here.

End Clothing return with more Tricker’s action. The Burnished toe cap brogue and boot for the country gent in need of something smart. The shoe, made on a 4444 last, is built on a Dainite sole unit and features the signature End heel pull tab. The boot is created on a 4497s last which they tell us is a rarity for Trickers, with the pattern based on the Stow model and again complete with Dainite sole and heel tab. More Autumn/Winter 2012 previews; the latest from the Tricker’s brand of footwear. The leather as well as colors may be familiar, as are the shapes, but pay close attention to new applications in pattern. The formal wingtip received a fresh application on the toe cap… we’d love to know your thoughts on this and the collection as a whole… again, just a preview. We’ll show a more complete look at the collection sometime this summer.

Today, we head over to Europe for a taste of Italy through the eyes of Marco Ravanetti, the editor of one of our favorite sites, Men’s Reveire. We asked him to pick eight of his favorite items for the holidays; goods that could serve as gifts for just about anyone. We of course get a very discreet list what can only be seen as a very considered offering.

As Mr. Ravanetti tell us, “Yes, I do love gifts. A lot, although I don’t receive them very often. Due to this, eight, is a very tight number, therefore, I hope Jeff will allow me to cheat just a tiny bit.” Yes, sir, you can cheat.

Masters of the collab, Tricker’s now find themselves shaking hands with the guys at Newcastle’s End Clothing. Digging into the archives the ‘End Hunting Co’ chose the long-wing Golosh country brogue. They’ve added a few exclusive touches in the form of contrast leather, durable Dainite soles, canvas heel pull and a single alternate brass eyelet. The relative simplicity of this collaboration makes this shoe that little bit special. Find them at End.

It’s easy to forget that Kurt Geiger have been collaborating with Tricker’s for seasons now – that happens when a brand is particularly promiscuous. But they are and the shoes continue to surprise in the best way possible. These derbies are a little fashun but they’re the clean and simple side of fashion that even mens style aficionados can get behind. (Kurt Geiger)

Sorry for the influx in Tricker’s news, but we do think this one is worth mentioning as well. Kurt Geiger once again worked with the shoemaker for Autumn/Winter 2011 and presents a Two-Tone Brogue Boot. Aside from the interesting use of materials on these, the toe construction is certainly the eye catcher. (GQ)
