Japanese retailer United Arrows presents ‘Portrait of United Arrows: Fall/Winter 2011′, a lookbook showcasing the collections that will be available in store in the coming months.

While there is still quite some heritage inspiration behind the lines presented, it is far less dominant than it used to be previously. We love the way the Japanese mix in camouflage, fur, knitwear and just the overall styling presented by the retail giant. They present a true modern city man.

Still on the lookout for a pair of anchor print shorts? Of course you are, it’s the most wanted product out there. These Camoshita shorts are on sale but, seeing as they were so ridiculously expensive before, the half price merely reduces them to relatively affordable. And, at £188, it’s still stretching the word affordable. Either way, these are great shorts. (ASOS)

Japan’s United Arrows is looking to expand their European doors with their tailored Camoshita collection, which pays homage to fine Italian tailoring with a Japanese spin. Traditional kimono patterned fabrics, also used in handkerchiefs are elegantly used on trousers. Easily some of the strongest patterning we have seen at Pitti. These work. Japan’s United Arrows delivers some Italo-made driving mocassins for the masses. I would prefer to wear these than the normal stash found in the U.S.A. Whatever the hell we have to do to bring these Stateside… please. (zozo)

Apparently the world’s designers won’t rest until we’re all wearing double monkstrap shoes. This time United Arrows have done the monkey stuff, putting them on top of some vibram soles. They’ve teamed up with Paraboot for some made in France shoes and we kinda like ‘em. If nothing else, at least the soles aren’t wedge ones. (Houyhnhnm)

Ah yes. United Arrows JP joins the ranks of inhouse print (and we’re not talking about traidtional lookbooks). Their newly launched PAPER starts off Summer 2010 by covering their take on men’s and women’s fashon. Two different issues are presented seasonally – one for the girls, the other for the bros. Collectors of in-house print rags will need to work some magic (proxy) to dig these up.

Our polo fans will be excited to see this offering from Lacoste for Japan’s United Arrows. The “Big Boarder” and “Piping Skipper” are explored through black and white variations and color blocking. A subtle contrasting piping on the sleeves finishes these off well.

Rimowa, famous for their “hard” case ribbed luggage, works a special flavor/makeup for Japan’s United Arrows line. This is not their first special makeup. Back in 2008, the releases a Honey Gold take on the flight classic Rimowa. Today, they hit the boarding zone with a “White” ensemble of five different models.

The accent white buttons on these two peacoats from Japan’s United Arrows sucked me right in. On top of a form fit cut, the jackets are of the short variety making them perfect length for most men under 5′8″. Find them now at Zozo.

Japan’s United Arrows collaborates with Mando on two military inspired jackets for Spring. The jackets side zip away from the chin and are made from tanned green leather. The sleeves are also fashioned with zip ups for a moto feel. Find them now at United Arrows.
