Munich’s Harvest is on a roll with their top line collaborative work with Schaaf. “After doing the Parka ‘Neil’ in Autumn for Harvest – Schaaf came in with its two Vests – “Young” 100% navy cotton and 100% light brown leather – to button into the Parka – with a warm fur lining – for the cold days – the Parka also will be available again in a few days we hope.”

Carhartt, a staple in American workwear manufacturing, shows us how to make lined work vests. The “Arctic Quilted Lined Vest” is an amazing piece for Fall and comes in a couple different colors. This “sandstone duck vest features a nylon lining quilted to arctic-weight polyester insulation.” The vest is “constructed of tough 12-oz. 100% cotton sandstone duck with plied yarns. Some features: inside pocket with hook-and-loop closure, 2 large quilted front handwarmer pockets and a drop tail in back, elastic side tabs at waist and a rib-knit collar. Tough Duck, a third-generation family owned brand, has “been manufacturing durable clothing for over 70 years,” There clothes are “100% cotton work garments” that are made of quality craftsmanship for tough jobsite conditions. The vest has a 12 oz. Cotton duck exterior with 6 oz. quilted polyester insulation which makes up for a really warm jacket. A couple details: 2 colorways, drop back kidney warmer, 2 chest pockets and heavy-duty brass zipper allows for an almost bulletproof vest. The Schaefer brand introduces the Durango Vest, weather-proof vest that is made of “full grain American cowhide” and “is set on the collar and front/back western yoke which is all one piece for a weatherproof seal. Western fans will be keen on the following vests from The Joe McCoy. “Classic design of the original down vest worn by cowboys in the 60’s and 70’s. The vest is filled with goose down for the best insulation. The outer is cotton with a 6/40 lining on the inside.
