Karl Lagerfeld’s photography faces the front of the Florence + The Machine’s latest physical release, “No Light, No Light.” The 12-inch single is part of a special edition being issued by Island Records and The Vinyl Factory. A highly limited edition release, “No Light, No Light” features a silver-foil hand screen printed, numbered cover.

Inside each edition is a unique series of photographic portraits shot by Lagerfeld as well. These photographs are exclusive to this physical vinyl release.  The white vinyl records comes in a black bag. Available now for pre-order. This is a good one.

I’m a sucker for a bad ass box set especially when it houses some vinyl rekkids. Creative Review comes through with what is arguably the box set of year to date from the Pet Shop Boys. “A collaboration between Farrow and the Pet Shop Boys, and produced by The Vinyl Factory, this version of the album sees its eleven tracks split over eleven separate super-heavyweight 200-gram vinyl records with exclusive b-side instrumentals, each in a coloured sleeve, all housed in a smoked, handmade Perspex case.” 200gram vinyl is about as good as it gets and is usually reserved for the jazz reissues.
