Vancouver’s Illustrated Example has produced their first run of wallets with the design help of locals Anemergency. Made of goat leather with gingham lining to enhancet he break-in and aging process, the white leather wallet also comes fashioned with hand sewn in aluminum spine money clip that doubles as a bottle opener.

Its not easy for the day man to keep that super thin wallet. Designer Timo Weiland had the same problem and came up with a solution. “With their sleek, back-pocket-perfect design, TIMO! I stopped using traditional wallets a long time ago. My biggest issue with them was how they allowed for growth; they tend to build up and become tomes of sort; stuffed with every receipt and business card possible on top of the important items like a driver’s license or credit cards. I thought I had found the perfect solution for myself until these Isaac Reina holders made an appearance on Oki-Ni.

Japanese brand Sophnet has released some accessories as part of their Spring/Summer 2008 collection. Included in this release were wallets, studded keychains and more. They are now available in several colorways at the Honeyee Store.

Here you see the latest product from Head Porter. They will be releasing the “Dot” collection soon. It consists of a Day Pack, Messenger Bag, Boston Bag, Wallet, DS Lite Case, Cosme Case and a Laptop bag – all of course covered in the polka dot pattern.

Japanese retailer Beams got together with Ortega’s Weaving Shop from Mexico and Porter Japan to create some wallets. The outcome is a really authentic mexican look and design. The wallets come in three colorways with the uppers made of wool and accents in leather. The wallets feature both a Beams and an Ortega’s Weaving Ship tag in side.

As usual the Japanese go the extra mile and want to get it right, thus teamed up with the locals from Mexico to get the patterns and materials right. Check out more detailed pictures  and the other colorways after the jump.

When Levi’s US and Europe do not really seem to be doing much these days, Levi’s Japan brings out one interesting project after the other. Recently we have seen the Original Fake Collaboration, before that also the Staple collaboration, and now they got together with Porter to collaborate on a few pieces.

The collection comes in black washed out denim and consists of wallets in different sizes and styles and a waist bag. A nice touch is the red tag on all pieces, a Levi’s classic and trademark. Pics via Honeyee.

From weekend travelers to different size wallets they offer everything. All products come in premium leathers with a subtle embossed Surface 2 Air logo branding. In terms of colors it also stays simple, in the black and bordeaux tones.
