Recently reviewed in Wallpaper*, Strike a Pose!: Eccentric Architecture and Spectacular Spaces is a “handy digest of the most photogenic work of the past five years.” Not to be considered a denouncement, it’s just that the Gestalten publication is more about quick burst media than architectural theory. Wallpaper* has made our job a little easier this week, offering a round up of upcoming design auctions. They scour the offerings from L.A. Modern, London’s Rocket Gallery, Chicago’s Wright and the obvious big two in NYC. That gem you’ve been hunting for might just be in the mix. And (to continue to beat a dead horse), if your not in the market sifting through the catalogs is an almost unparalled design education.
