WOR Collection by Warriors of Radness

Something new from the West Coast. WOR Collection by Warriors of Radness moves away from the coastline influences of the casual lifestyle all the way into a military inspired collection that has you hearing Sargent Bill Kilgore command, ”You either surf or fight…”

The WOR Collection reflects a military ideal that includes trench coats, “a boatneck cotton pullover anorak in vietnam era tiger camo but in marine blues, M-65 field jacket in ripstop and marine blues tiger camo, a windshirt, jaquard knit pullovers,” and much more. Apocalypse, now.

Warriors of Radness Autumn/Winter 2011 Looks

WOR. We’ve been with them since day one and every season it seems as though more people (and the industry as a whole) either fall in love with the brand or continue to be puzzled by the message. Problem is, we don’t believe there actually is one. The Warriors of Radness world is one of leisure and comfort. As their release states it: with “nights getting longer it just means there’s more time to drink more beer, smoke more herb, and #%&@! more chicks.”  Fuck yeah, it is.

This is Warriors of Radness for Autumn/Winter 2011. Enjoy.

Selectism - warriors-of-radness-spring-2012-03

Aaaaaand we’re kicking off today’s Capsule recap with a look at those Warriors. Bringing sunshine (lollipops and rainbows) to their stand at Capsule, they showcased their wares. As you’d expect from a spring collection, there’s plenty of shorts, short sleeved shirts and lightweight knits involved.

Take a leap to see the kinda stuff we’d rock on the beach.

Of course, knowing Warriors of Radness, most pieces comes in bright colors and we also like the graphical work done on the series.” Proper fun in the sun.
