The Snobs were on site for Wood Wood’s Autumn/Winter 2012 runway show. Here’s their take:

“Wood Wood presented both their men’s and women’s collections for Fall/Winter 2012. We like seeing the brand getting again more focussed on their street inspired looks. Strong outerwear, nice patchwork shirting, knitwear and knitted bottoms, as well as a well rounded offering of accessories were shown on the runway.”

Something a bit “thron-y” about the hair on this model for the new Wood Wood Autumn Winter 2011. He’s doing his thing and we applaud that. More importantly the collection of goods from the Danish label stresses the casualness of living. Nothing to overdone here except for those locks.

We’re big on Wood Wood’s shirts. We like their other stuff too, but their shirts are the things we usually buy season on season. Our current love of patterned shirts is very, very well documented but here’s another one to add to pile. While it’s easy to go pattern crazy right now, we’d like to exercise some restraint. Why not go patterned up top and plain down low? It’s much better than looking like a fabric factory threw up on you. And these are on sale, which will come in handy when the sun really arrives (in a month or so’s time, when stores are selling leather gloves). [Wood Wood]

Capsule round up time! This time we’re kicking off with Scandinavian brand Wood Wood. We’ve always liked a bit of Wood Wood, mainly because they’re our halfway house between streetwear and the more classic stuff. Also, they’re inspired by the Happy Mondays, which is reason enough for us to like anyone.

Take a leap to see what we’ve chose. Or what we’ve curated, if you’re the kind of douche who uses the word curated to talk about clothing.

Swedish DANISH! boutique brand, Wood Wood, gives us their take on the summer short pants. “Insignia blue” covers the outer fabric of the garment. The slit pockets and traditional rear flap pockets give the piece character. Most chinos, usually have a welt pocket instead of flap rear pockets. This detail makes the shorts stand out. Made with a crisp classic twill finish.

We’re always a little confused at the lack of clothing companies making decent laptop cases. Judging from the amount of folks we’ve seen with Supreme stickers on their cases, we’d think there’d be a market for that. One of the exceptions to the rule has been Wood Wood, who’ve been making these handsome laptop cases for a while now. Perfect for all those folks going travelling over the summer. (Flatspot)

Odd confession alert – we don’t really like written slogans on t-shirts. But we do like them on sweatshirts. Weird, right? But hey, this dressing yourself business doesn’t have to be logical. Anyway, that odd confession is the reason we liked this sweatshirt over the tee with the same logo. (Flatspot)

Danish company, Wood Wood, refreshes their collection with the popular Stockholm 111 jacket. This piece was very popular in their previous collections so they decided to bring it back in a new colorway. This time around it’s offered in a “dust yellow” that sets a spring motif to the garment. On top of the awesome color, its 100% waxed cotton so it will look great after many years of wear. This can be worn with anything really, but would look great with a pair of slim chino’s and a white T-shirt.
