01. Official: Jeep shows Wrangler Nautic concepts in Paris

“For those with a love of the ocean and a heady wind at the sails, there’s the White Jeep Wrangler by Style & Design. Said to be inspired by sailboats, the White is highlighted in chrome, which covers the 20-inch chrome wheels, seven-slat grille, door handles and trunk hinges. The interior is swathed in Navy White leather with wooden-deck-style coverings for the floors, dash, console, doors and gearlever.” (autoblog)

02. Nissan Leaf to get inductive charging, lose its stem in 2013

“Nissan has big plans for the still-budding Leaf. The Japanese automaker lit up its impressive Leaf-powered Smart House at the Tokyo Motor Show last week, but also demoed its wireless charging solution for a much smaller crowd at the company’s Oppama factory. The device uses electromagnetic induction to transfer power between a charging pad and a receiver on the bottom of the car, with an efficiency level between 80 and 90 percent — simply park your EV directly above the system to begin charging, and monitor progress on the ground transmission unit’s control panel.” (engadget)

04. Volkswagen Unveils Its Plug-in Hybrid AWD Cross Coupe Concept at the Tokyo Auto Show

“Volkswagen has just revealed its new plug-in hybrid AWD Cross Coupe Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show, and it displays the direction the company will be heading in its design for future vehicles. We love the raked angles that flow back to the unique taillights, but the really impressive design is under the hood, where VW has packed two electric motors paired with a direct-injected, turbocharged engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.” (inhabitant)

It is hard to pass up beautiful images. While this campaign shoot by photographer, Boo George, was presented for Wranger Australia, the images are impressively pleasant and nondescript compared to many. The takeaway from the Wrangler line is that their voices do not need to be so vocal. The garments speak for themselves. Boo George himself has worked with the big guns in fashion peridocials including “Love,” “L’uomo Vogue,” “Arena Homme +,” “Vogue,” and many more. He happened to also photographed the Wrangler Autumn/Winter 2011 campaign as well.

Fairisle, Navajo and a mish mash of the two collide is these festive sweaters from Wrangler. Makers of all things denim they turn their attentions to knitwear. Man cannot live on jeans alone. A lot going on pattern wise here so if you’re looking to keep a low profile then perhaps something more subdued would suit. However, there’s no better time to kick off a mulled wine and jazzy sweater party and this is the cardigan to do it in.

Wrangler show us how they mark their territory. Thankfully, they didn’t mark it like animals do.

Isn’t the name Trevor great? It’s so safe, so dependable, so what you’d want a denim jacket to be called. And thankfully, that’s just what Wrangler’s Blue Bell collection have done with this denim jacket. Like all things denim related this season, it’s washed and, therefore, it’s cool.

Here’s a gander at Wrangler’s Blue Bell SS11 campaign video. If they’re not jumping from buildings they’re sweating profusely and breaking things in reverse.

A workwear division of Wrangler, Riggs Workwear, introduced their “Denim Workshirt.” The company has also developed “Room2Move” styling, which incorporates side gussets for “greater range of motion.” At a 6.75 oz 100%  cotton, this shirt is made of “ring spun denim” that uses a stonewashing procedure for its look. If you’re looking to subtle out a flannel this Fall, a lighter colored denim shirt could set the tone. A great layering piece, it looks great with a slim pair of twill pants. Wrangler Blue Bell (for the Eu market) continues to refine their collection for Autumn 2010. “The Fall/Winter 2010/11 collection is dark as night, inspired by rockabilly perfectionism, the 80s-influenced-by-the-50s, and thrift store Americana. Colours are black, grey and white, with dark indigo a signature of the brand.” Tony Ward models the collection.
