Wrangler’s latest installment of their “We Are Animals” campaign for Spring/Summer 2010, may confuse some with its installation name. “‘Red,’ which is a dominant and unifying colour in the campaign, was chosen for its expression and symbolism: warmth, passion, love, strength, vivacity, energy, liberation – life. The boiling energy of the males and females in the frame collides with this vibrant crimson to create an image of the Wrangler brand…” The campaign developed by, Fred & Farid Paris, and by Jeff Burton, is a bold and may be dramatic for many but we present it for review.

Cowboys in Japan, unite. An interesting collaboration popped up on the Japan market. Whereabouts has worked with Wrangler on small collaborative set of western inspired shirts. Two standouts are the corduroy shirts in brown and green which are finished with the standard western cuff and bright snap closures. They look to also be a more modern fit for westerns. (maw)

Europeans are in luck with the Wrangler Blue Bell denim line launch. Londoners have it even better with the newly opened pop-up shop on Lambs Conduit Street. Inside you’ll find the full range of re-issued men’s denim and wears. Below we offer some preview looks at the pop-up shop. If you plan on visiting, let us know how stands.

So we’re not usually inclined to cover the launch of websites without being able to offer much of a visual preview but on July 13th, Wrangler is opening the doors on their Blue Bell Europe website which will showcase the re-launch of the line (for A/W 2009) in a manner which we consider unique. Yeah, it’s a bitch we cannot really show you the interactivity of the site but we’re certain it will turn some heads once it is officially launched for Europe. Imagine scenes from a movie with the end user being able to visually adjust garments on the characters.

Japanese brand N.Hoolywood continues their collaboration with Wrangler and presents this season a denim shirt and a pair of corduroy pants. Lately we are all into denim shirts again. There is a lot that one has to get right with them and a lot to mess up. This Wrangler shirt of this collaboration is perfect with nice stitching details on the pockets and great authentic buttons.
