Harrods of London present their new in house “YSL pour Harrods” tuxedo just in time for Fashion Week in their fair city. YSL’s own Stefano Pilati worked on the special in-store tux that “seamlessly blended modern touches with echoes of the YSL decadence of the ‘60’s.” The double breasted, satin peak lapel tuxedo features a full lined jacket and a label to make it all that more special. Find it exclusively at Harrods for around $3,299.

More tough faced models in leather and black for Autumn Winter 2012. Dazed brings us looks from the YSL show that looks to dip into the black rather than blue rush for autumn. As they tell us, Stefano Pilati works around the theme of “Sex and Money” for the collection. Uniformed fit like we saw in other collections. Let us know your thoughts on the collection.

YSL comes through with some perfect wears for the man looking to up their sweatshirt game some. “A grey cotton-fleece biker sweatshirt by Yves Saint Laurent. Long ribbed arms. Ribbed and elasticated cuffs and hemline. Off-centre diagonal double silver zip closure. Ribbed collar. Two front slit pockets. Standard fit. Hemline finishes below the waist.” Browns has them.

We feel like idiots for even saying this, but the whole classic fighter pilot look is very hawt this season. Take this YSL Sheepskin collar jacket for instance, Without the sheepskin collar (which is detachable) it’s a pretty ordinary bomber, the collar helps it stand apart. And when something costs £1,195, standing apart is the least it can do. (Matches)

Posted up some stills of this film this morning, but it turns out that the good folks at HB have the super-exclusive. So here it is.

This is more a ‘look, but don’t touch’ recommendation. While we feature plenty of expensive things on SL, this one is towards the top end of the scale. Basically, if you have to ask the cost, you can’t afford it. ‘Tis a very handsome jacket though. We’d recommend the ‘buy it, leave the tags on, wear it once and return it’ strategy. Not that we ever do that. (Matches)

As mentioned, “Yves Saint Laurent’s Stefano Pilati has collaborated with Atelier New York on a capsule men’s collection for spring. We’re told the 17 pieces styles, produced entirely in Italy, retain all the luxury you’d expect from YSL, but injected with the gothy goodness.” They seem to be right. The model in our original story now has the model turned toward us to get a better look into what you’ll be able to lay your hands on.
